Cover up your roots. If you are in between trips to the hairdresser and your roots are showing cover them up with mascara. For lighter colored hair use a little extra hairspray and dust with a gold colored eyeshadow. This will cover up roots until you get your hair colored again.

See if you can incorporate beauty routines into your everyday plans. If you spread out different techniques, you can use small ten minute blocks of time each day. Trying to squeeze all your efforts into a single day will get pretty overwhelming and may cause you to slack on yourself.

If you have discovered that the hair around you face is drying out and breaking off, you could be using hot irons or other heating tools too much. You could try an intense conditioner or create your own by adding two teaspoons of olive oil to the conditioner, and let it sit on the hairline for five minutes, and then rinse.
